Money Does Suck when you have to four times much the work (Slavery) and never get paid in the amount that we all deserve and many of us becomes so bitter all because the unfair and fiendish rules of the policies of the system money, should be abollished.

I did this once before, I lent a few hundred bucks to a friend/co-worker, and I let it slide for a few months. But when the time came that I needed some money, I told her about my situation, she said she’ll pay me but she never came through. Our relationship surely didn’t end well.

This is a lesson learned and it will never happen again.

I implemented the policy of never lending money to freinds…
I will give them money… and if I can’t afford it well then i can’t give them anything or I make up some excuse, like I’m broke…it causes hurt feelings, but only for a while. it also took a while for the feelings of empathy and guilt to sear off and go away so I woldn’t guilt myself into giving them money on the “I’ll pay ya back dude” promise…

eep- I know what you mean about lending friends money. I lent someone a couple of hundred dollars a few years ago, saw them once after that, and haven’t seen them since. I always wonder why – was it because she couldn’t pay back the money? or did she move and forget about me?

She was a good friend. The money wasn’t that important to me. I never thought she’d be able to pay me back for several reasons.

Well, if this friend knows about the situation you’re in, you could always ask him/her if you could ‘borrow’ some money from them.

Honey, I’m sure you can capitalise on some women’s fundamental desire to nurture and support. You can’t be worrying about this because you want to get married soon! Easy, boy. Eaasy.

Someone needs to make an article on how best to subtley and politely take back money from a friend. Without killing them with a blunt plier.
