Debtkid,

I just glanced over your blog. You sound like about 98% of most America. You have started the most important step.. You woke up. It is hard to do.

My opinion is your a very strong person. Look deep inside and don't give up. Trust God, Familly, and your real friends.

Check out Dave Ramsey.com, he is syndicated across the state. His story is amazing and his ideas will change your life.

Stop worrying, find some peace and get some sleep. "That that doesn't kill you will make you stornger", I am not sure who's quote it is, but it is true.

Also I was crazy in debt, had a poor work ethic, and always tried to find short cuts. I went through Bankruptcy, a strained marriage and I was humbled. This is when my life started. Like you I was always waiting for the big break, and I felt like life was on hold. I let three cars go back to the dealerships, I had 5 credit cards maked out, medical bills, and other lines of credit I was smothered in. My Bankruptcy was filed before the new laws came into effect. Thank God for that.

Once you hit rock bottome you have two choices, to climb out and up, or go sideways.

I am 38, I am debt free as of this month, and I became a man from my experiences. I don't buy anything unless I pay in cash, I built my own house (framed, plumbed and did the electrical) I have no payment. It is small but it is mine. Email me and I can help you. Then you can help someone else to return the favor.

In my opinions Americans need to find the pioneer spirit that founded this country. We all want things now (instant gratification), we don't want to wait for success, nor do we want to work for it, we dont' know how to save, we don't know how to do anything for ouselves. Katrina was a perfect example. If you know a storm is coming, be prepared. The Bible is a perfect book for living. Find God, if you have, Trust God.

Thanks,

DK I think you need to slow it down and focus attention on getting each project done. I noticed before you would call them Project A and Project B and it's hard to tell how many you're working on now. Your passion for what you do is awesome though. Never lose that drive for success.
