Time to buy a shack in the woods?

by debt kid on November 20, 2008

Wow, the dearth of bad news continues. The S&P 500 hit it’s lowest point in 11 and a half years.

Ouch. Ouch. Ouch.

Good news for homeowner’s facing foreclosure though, Fannie and Freddie are suspending evictions until after the holidays

This is such a weird, almost twilight zone episode like time for me. I won’t lie, I stil keep on eye on the FOREX markets, and some of the moves lately….I’ve never seen before. Just incredible.

what exactly do you mean by "some of the moves lately….I’ve never seen before" can you elaborate for those of us who have never looked at the forex exchange?

Hey DebtKid,

I'm not sure what to think of the market right now…all I can say, is that my heart goes out to the short-term traders who have lost almost everything. There is no telling how many lives have been changed by the recent events. Sigh.

Say, I'm trying to write a series of articles on getting out of debt. Do you have any tips or pointers? Would you be interested in a link trade? Just an idea.

Good luck on your journey!

Hi Debtkid,

I thought someone should tell you that dearth means "scarcity, lack of supply." So, you aren't saying this correctly, even though I know what you meant. Just a pointer, since you say you are doing more paid writing.

And, by now, the DOW is climbing again…And, the wheel keeps turning…

Well at least it is at or close to rock bottom. And from there, things can only get better!
