Hi! Well, let me just say that I agree that relationship stuff comes in time. However, I don’t view your experiences as a negative. As a matter of fact, I’m impressed with how far you have come since starting this blog and I think that shows what kind of guy you really are. I have no doubt that you will find a great girl in the future:-)

The relationship stuff will come in time. It usually happens when you least expect it. I have found that to be the case, unless you are a recluse ( and I have been at times due to the same financial issues you are going through, trying to get my 8 million business ideas going,etc).

Hey Wolf ~ My friend’s advice was to persue a relationship asap. Part of me thinks he is wanting to live through me a bit!

My first IRS payment is due the 28th, baring any unforeseen event, it will be paid on time. The tax lien is in place and I imagine will remain so until the balance is paid off.

So you want to tamp down the financial issues and concentrate on girlfriend issues. So what did your “friend” advise? You missed a good storyline here. My friends try to help with whatever is going on in my life at the time. Why didn’t you play some of your financial issues off of him to get an objective opinion? Even with friends,everything is not always good; people are up and down. You should know this if you’re in counseling.
It’s the middle of October; have you started on your IRS payments. What about the Federal Tax Lien?

As you can see from this post very recently, I'm always back and forth on this issue. And before people point out that you don't need to spend money on a girlfriend....Yes, I know. In fact, I've got lots of ideas for cheap and fun dates. The bigger issue would probably be time. It would take a truly special lady for me to pursue right now. And I would want to do that with 100% of my heart, time, and effort. And that would take time. And time for me right now....is truly money. So, that's the biggest concern I have with the whole dating thing right now. That and of course I'd eventually have to explain this whole mess (though I'm getting more and more OK with that....)
