I have tried numerous times over the years and just never took to it. Also, I spend so much time working on ideas that I don't think I can spare any more time doing all the actual work. Though at the same time I am a control freak. Delegation and outsourcing make things work for me. When i find and trust others to do tasks they already know how to do, that frees me up to come up with the business,. I’m the same way. Another one down! As far as the skillz go, how about a Photoshop class? I took one at my local community college (in the art dept) and had a BLAST. I met a lot of fun people, we would take field trips to go photograph stuff and I actually learned a ton when I wasn't busy socializing. And you know what? You so don't need a place to entertain. Call up the people you're interested in hanging out with and ask them OUT to do something. Meet at a brewery, or a coffee shop. That way you also don't have the added pressure of coming up with all the drinks/food yourself. It's a much more relaxed way to hang out with people that you don't know well.
