What is the best way to immediately improve your credit score?

The fastest way I ever improved my credit score was what I did right before I got my first mortgage. I paid off a big chunk of my debt, and then was able to get a “rapid re-score” of my credit score.

So, first, pay off any high balances if at all possible. This is the single easiest way to quickly improve your credit score. BUT, this does take up to a month or two before that balance change is reflected in your score.

If had to quickly improve my credit score I would use Veracity. It’s going to cost you a bit, but if you need to boost your score quickly, they can help you do this.

I'm 300K in debt. Gulp. I'm 24 and day traded away a fortune. Now I'm trying to crawl back to zero. Why not subscribe to my RSS feed and join me on this journey. You can also subscribe via e-mail. I appreciate tips and feedback! ~ DebtKid
