We don't have the option of using an antenna for tv. We went without tv for more than a year in order to make ends meet. Not a problem. We found Netflix to be an inexpensive alternative to the cost of satellite television. There are other free services online as well although you do have to pick and choose. News is available online. Never missed TV.

the instant watch option is what has me hooked, but I'm appalled at how awful the search options are. Try to search for something only in instant viewing. Go ahead. You can't do it. You also can't search by actor, director, within categories, or by a long list of search capabilities every internet savvy person basically takes for granted. Even putting things in quotation marks makes no difference! Great list of movies and tv shows. Watch the new Dr. Who series one, The office, etc. etc. Last night we watched a horrible (in a good way) movie called Oranges: return of the eggplant. A classic.
