A good run always clears the mind and soul. I ran the crap out of myself yesterday and today went 10X better.
Some pretty interesting comments on my last post. Its funny, when I really just write without thinking (ie, you get my thoughts unedited) comments are always plentiful and interesting. Thanks everyone, even the negative ones, keeps me thinking and evaluating my situation.

I think the only way to really write without thinking would be to physically write it down. Typing may seem faster and get the ideas out, but you can go back and change something. Running allows one to really think about stuff sometimes. Glad it’s working for you.
Running can be great therapy. Not sure if you have a portable mp3 player (or if you had to sell it), but there’s a great podcast for runners that keeps me motivated during my long jogs. Go to:

The man is inspirational, motivating, and humorous. Might help you get a little extra motivation on your runs and some of his thoughts/philosophies might transcend into your professional life issues as well.
Hey, from your previous posts it seems that you’re fairly athletic. Have you considered setting a goal outside of work, like running a long race or doing a triathalon? Perhaps training for and accomplishing something non-work related will also help you find the positive vibes that you seem to be seeking from your previous post. Great benefits… good health and low costs.
Hmm… my comment didn’t show up before. I’ll repost a summary:
Running is a great way to clear your mind. Have you considered trying to sign up for a long race? Training might get your mind off of your financial woes and will also strengthen your body… at very low cost.
Also, if you have a portable mp3 player, I highly recommend the Phedippidations podcast (search itunes or go to http://www.steverunner.com for more info). I found out about him a few weeks ago and have been listening to his podcasts religiously since then. He’s also gotten my lazy butt off the couch and now I’m running 15-25 miles per week.
