So.... what if I don't have retirement, a way to consolidate, or a family member willing to help me out?

Eh?

Debt kid...almost gave me a heart attack there with the guest post...I read the title and thought maybe you were going the Casey Serin route of avoiding bankruptcy (foreclosure) by declaring bankruptcy (getting foreclosed on) 7 times.

"Wells Fargo...charged my loan off when it was 91 days late as per the contract I signed when I was 19 years old. This of course, further damaged my credit, and the only way to get this loan out of collections is to either pay it in full...or make payments for years until it’s paid off"

What does being 19 have to do with anything? You were over 18 and signed a legal contract. Hey, I know how to avoid bankruptcy! Simply don't pay your bills and let it go to collections! Sadly enough, I know many many many many people who have used that route to "avoid bankruptcy" when they would have been much better just going the BK. I understand about the student debt not being dischargable, but in any other circumstance...

So, Jenners, are you proposing that people in debt simply not have sex, or are you advocating for abortion?

Thanks for sharing your story, Debbie. Stuff does happen and you just have to power through it and pay until you're done. Good luck in the future!

Nice. I love hearing stories about people that are having trouble paying their bills and decide to have kids. I mean how stupid is that? OK OK I can understand that stuff happens and maybe you end up having one, but to go and just have another when you have all these financial problems?!?!

Another shinning example of what is wrong with the country.
