With such an arrangement you don't need to worry about the credit checks or utilities or such... added bonus, you don't need to buy furniture or other stuff. Pretty much any bridge in to SF has a toll on the way in and any bridge leaving the East Bay has a toll on the way out. If you're heading south from SF then you might be toll free. To get back to Sac without a toll, you have to take 101 across the Golden Gate and head east on 37 to Valejo, but the tolls might be cheaper than the gas.
