Free Foreclosure Listing
Getting Free Foreclosure Listing Is Possible
Whether you’re just considering getting into the foreclosure market or you’ve been at it for years like me, you know it all comes down to one thing: leads. Without a reliable place to get foreclosure listings, you can never hope to succeed in today’s competitive market. The good news is that the competition is thinning, and it’s never been easeir to get involved and get your share of the profits! There are tons of websites out there that offer a free foreclosure listing; but here’s the news: They aren’t Free! My method is…
Foreclosures Used To be Hush-Hush
Before I get to that, however, let’s take a look at how the internet revolutionized the foreclosure market. First, let me say that I’ve been in this business a long time. Back when I was getting my start in foreclosures, the concept of a free foreclosure listing was unheard of. Since the profit margin is so great and there are only a limited number of foreclosures every year, leads were guarded like an industry secret, and in a way they were.
Banks Loaned To Freely
Fast-forward with me now to the 1990’s and 2000’s. As you may have heard analysts discussing on the news, this period marked the beginning and end of an enormous “housing bubble.” Essentially banks were granting loans to individuals (specifically mortgages) that they knew they would never be able to complete successfully. This was great for the banks in the short term, but as we saw when the bubble burst in late 2007, it was really no good for anyone else.
Investors Now Picking Up The Pieces
Except, that is, for investors like us. As these houses face foreclosure, they are usually placed on lists. When we talk about a free foreclosure listing on the internet we are essentially looking for a free lead. Once you have access to a list, you can wade through a ton of information on the property and usually come to a reasonably good estimate of its market value.
Lists Aren’t Big Secrets Anymore
Obviously you can see where this is heading: The ones with the best lists reap the best profits. That being said, pretty much any list that is worth anything will come from someone at the local level. Someone with intimate knowlege of the market you are interested in. Online lists nowadays are very reasonably priced, and the price is often inconsequential after just one sale is made. But still not free…
Paid Subscriptions Not Worth It
So when you hear people talk about a free foreclosure listing, they are usually talking about a free trial to one of these paid subscription services. That’s not free, and you can do better.
I’ve developed a network of local brokers who are specialists in foreclosure properties. These agents have experience with finding and handling foreclosure deals in their local markets. Not only will they have access to local foreclosure data they will share with you, they can help you eveluate and close on deals.
You can’t get that type of experience from a website. Deal with a local broker who know’s foreclosures!

your great
I DO NOT think I should have to pay someone to see foreclosure properties. That is a total ripoff. Where is there somewhere where I can get details on these properties with photos and info without having to pay for it.
