My next to next door neighbor wanted to ‘help me’ with with an equity extraction leverage purchase, with a lease-back to me. Talk about a disgusting lack of moral compass! True story.

I think there are scams that market RE get rich quick in foreclosure. Not much actual chance of doing it, but an excellent scaminar topic, it seems.

I’m furious that they put so much effort into deciving people. Those two that look like government documents ovbiously wouldn’t fool you or me, but it would fool a lot of people who had gotten themselves into dangerous mortgages to begin with.

It’s a good lesson for any aspiring real estate investors. If you want to get into foreclosures, THIS is your competition. There are a ton of players in the field and many use unethical means to make the bottom line. Despite what “gurus” will tell you, pre-foreclosures is extremely competetive and not for the un-prepared.
