File Taxes Online For Free 2009

For the last 3 years I’ve filed my federal taxes online. I can’t imagine a simpler way of doing it.

Online is really the only way to do your taxes.

If you only need to do a 1040EZ you can file online for free with TurboTax. I would highly recommend the online version because it stores your information on the Turbo Tax servers for the next year. No need to find that local file!

For those filing a full 1040 (like I do), you can’t go wrong with Turbo Tax online. They usually will throw in your state filing for free, and the online guide walks you through all the deductions you qualify for. At the end you print out a hard copy, file electronically, and boom. You’re done.

My refund check arrived in about 2 and a half weeks after filing electronically with Turbo Tax Online.
