New year, new love maybe? My Dad met his wife online, so I won’t be a hater and say something lame about online dating. The reality is that in today’s world, it’s not a bad way to meet someone.

Yeah, I met my wife 9 years ago in the early days of online dating on Yahoo personals.
Back then it was basically just a newspaper personal on-line.
What I like about it is that there is no guesswork needed about whether that girl you saw is dating someone already or not interested in a relationship.. I know to some guys facts like that are irrelevant and they just go for it but for me who has an irrational fear of rejection and feeling stupid, I liked to mitigate my risk by searching online because at least you know people are there to find a relationship and I didn't feel as bad if it didn't work out.
