Couldn't agree more... "I guess it boils down to the fact that I work alot better when I feel better about myself".
I've made the mistake to put everything aside and make work my life; thinking this would make me more successful, earn a higher income, and be happier. I had everything a$$ backwards. Working 90 hours a week brought in some great income, but i lost touch with everything that truly made me happy. Misery set in quick, and what once was motivation became the exact opposite. After taking some time, and getting into a different industry, i realized money is great and not having financial stress is even better; but there is a certain point where the money, and what it takes to get it, quickly washes away your happiness.
