Everslim Review
Everslim is an herbal diet supplement marketed as a diet pill that is advertised especially for moms to lose the extra weight gained during pregnancy. Everslim claims to help lose weight 3.5 times more than regular dieting and exercise alone, not to mention its promise of having fast-acting components. This very hopeful claim is based on a clinical study that confirms the presence of the key ingredients contained in their products which are Garcinia cambogia extract, Chromium polynicotinate and Gymnema sylvestre extract. These ingredients are said to deliver slimming effects.
It is unquestionable that the formulation of the pills contains the said ingredients; but the thing we have to be wary about is that if the actual amounts of these active ingredients are adequate enough in order to initiate an effect. There is where the issue lies. Everslim diet pills have significantly less amount than what is required to achieve a result. For example, each serving of the daytime formula contains 156mg of calcium (as hydroxycitrate) and 218mg of Potassium (as hydroxycitrate). The study group in which the greatest weight loss was observed was given 4667mg of hydroxycitric acid, which is significantly more than that contained in EverSlim.
The other ingredients listed in the product are green tea extracts and caffeine. While the weight loss effects and anti-oxidant properties of green tea have long been established, caffeine simply acts as a diuretic, which may lead to dehydration. The night-time pills also include passionflower, melatonin, valerian root and chamomile. Each of these extracts or ingredients is known to have sedative effects that can help you sleep. These do not actively contribute to increasing your metabolism or losing weight.
While a 24 hour diet pill may sound all good, there is actually no evidence to support this claim. It is just an expensive way to lose weight—that is if you’ll ever really lose weight at all.
