Why a Gas Card?

A gas credit card often earns the highest rewards of all types of credit cards. Some gas cards will payout up to 5% on gasoline purchases. No airline or other rewards card even comes close to that.

Since gas is something pretty much anyone with a car purchases each month, having a gasoline card is pretty much a no brainer if you can be wise with it.

The best gas credit cards have no annual fee and decent credit lines. Most lines will be around the $500 range, but in reality, if you are being prudent, you shouldn’t need a higher credit limit anyway

Getting Approved For A Gas Card

Getting approved is more difficult than it used to be. You should have a 660 FICO score or higher and limited bad items on your report to get approved automatically.
