Welcome to my ultimate guide to the Best Credit Cards.

Having once obtained over 100K in credit on credit cards (business, student, airline, and others), I know a bit about the credit card industry. And all credit cards are NOT created equal.

Depending on what your financial goals are, I’ll help you find the perfect card for you!

Credit Card Deals

Many credit cards will give away all kinds of freebies and bonuses and even cash if you get approved for their card. This section lists all the current best credit card deals and “free money” that you can find online.

0% Credit Card Balance Transfer

Sometimes, it pays to move your credit card balances around. This section lists all the best no fee, or 0% credit card balance transfer cards in existence. Playing the balance transfer game with a high yield savings account is a fun way to make some extra money each year.

Business Credit Cards

Getting business credit cards is actually a lot easier than you’d think it might be. If you have a strong personal credit score, you can get approved for numerous business credit cards with a personal guarantee. If you don’t want to guarantee any business credit, you’ll need a decent business credit file to get approved.

Rewards Credit Cards

Some credit cards give all kinds of rewards for signing up, and usage. Some rewards programs are totally worth it, others not so much. There are loads of different kinds of rewards credit cards:

yummy rewards cards! “Yum! I eat Rewards cards for breakfast!”

Instant Approval Cards

Many credit cards will approve you right over the Internet in a matter of seconds! Instant approval cards are my favorite since you don’t have to wait for approval in the mail. Most of the time you’ll even know your credit limit and often have a temporary card number you can begin using right away. Automated underwriting mostly looks at your credit report, so make that is as clean as possible before you apply.

Student Credit Cards

My first student credit card was a sick clear blue from American Express card with a $2000 limit. Nice. Often your first student card comes from your bank, but there are a number of credit card companies that love students as well. Just remember, student credit cards are like your first car…it may not be the best, but it gets the job done. See my top choices for student credit cards.

Black Cards

Visa recently introduce their “Visa black card” to quite a bit of fanfare. You have to have good credit and a pretty decent income to qualify for this car though.

Bad Credit

Having bad credit doesn’t mean you are up a tree when it comes to getting approved for a credit card. Bad credit credit cards are available even if you’ve had a bankruptcy or a few late payments.

Prepaid Credit Cards

Prepaid cards are great for teenagers or for those who like the comfort of knowing you’ve already paid into the account you are using. Prepaid credit cards have taken off the last few years and there are a number of companies that now offer this type of card.

    Hello,
I’m enjoy reading your post about credit card, however I would like to know more about cash back points, reward points. Where can I find a good one? Since I’m struggling in between college and post-college. I occassionaly go use orbtiz, expedia, etc that kind of thing to buy flight tickets or reserve a hotel room.

Which credit card would you suggest me to use since I’ll like to save up money as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thank you.
