US Bank was pretty popular where I went to school. They always seemed like a decent bank, but looking at their terms and CD rates, they look a little behind the leaders, even for a traditional brick and mortar bank. I prefer online savings accounts vs. CD’s anyway.
US Bank has a middle of the road $1,000 minimum to open a CD account. All are FDIC insured for up to 250K.
