Lets get one thing clear: Doing a short sale sucks.
It’s tedious, frustrating, time-consuming, and will make you want to pull your hair out. Still reading?
But it can be totally worth it.
As the biggest servicer (buying up Countrywide a few years back), Bank of America has short sale problems like no other bank. The sheer volume of short sales they are dealing with every day is massive.
The good news?
You don’t have to do a Bank of America short sale buy yourself.
I was a able to partner with an outstanding short sale agent when I did my own short sale back in 2007. Fast forward to today, 2011, and you still need someone who knows the BOA short sale process inside and out.
It doesn’t cost anything to have someone (a qualified short sale agent) represent you. They will deal with Bank of America, and you can just deal with moving on in your life. I know the process sucks.
