If you haven't tried it, Gazelle.com is great for selling used cell phones, cameras, computer parts., etc. I'm hoping they'll soon start taking rechargable batteries.

Everything is recycled with a zero-landfill guarantee, and when I sold my phone to them a while back I got $53 for it! Also, free shipping--they even send you the packing materials.

I sold an old stereo I never used, broken digital camera for parts, old PDA, and an old, old camera my grandma found and would never use on ebay. So far its been great! I have also sold some books and random items on amazon. MySurvey is a website I was referred to for surveys to earn "cash". I have not invested as much time in as I should though. I have so many old shirts and clothes that are still in great condition that I typically have donated to Goodwill but I will definitely try out Plato's closet. I used to take all my old movies back to blockbuster for store credit as well.

Great ideas. We have sold used books, used cds, used dvds and used video games to Abundatrade.com which gives the highest value we have seen on the web for these items. You can trade for cash or merchandise. It is quick and easy. We have also tried craigslist to list items.

I re-sell books all the time on Amazon.com. :) They allow you to sell used books. some of the best are "for dummies" books and how-to manuals.
